A FEW WORDS ABOUT

Mike Sciberras

A PERSONAL BIO...

Mike has resided, since 1993, in the historic Main Street area of Newmarket with his wife of over thirty years, their two sons and a standard poodle.  He’s been a music and auto racing enthusiast for most of his life, and has been known to target vacation plans around these interests; often crossing borders to take in a Waterboys gig or an F1 race.  An avid photographer, Mike tends to focus his spare time peering through a camera lens; taking an unconventional approach to compositions ranging from urban streetscapes to wilderness landscapes.  A self-proclaimed fedora aficionado and master of Seinfeld-isms, you won’t soon find him donning the notorious “urban sombrero”.  As a traveler, when not flagging down a taxi in Manhattan – a quintessential NY experience unto itself – Mike can conversely be found winding through the highlands of Scotland on the malt whisky trail in search of the next castle, burial ground, ancient ruin, or scenic photographic pursuit.
